The Darryl Stawberry Foundation Donates to the FREE Foundation

The Darryl Strawberry Foundation recently donated $25,000 to the FREE Foundation in Old Bethpage,NY.
The funds will help the agency continue the many programs that they offer including residential alternatives to the institutionalization of individuals with mental challenges and developmental disabilities.

Darryl Strawberry Reaching Out For Cancer Awareness

Darryl recently spoke at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was interviewed by Joe Gumm, on staff at ESPN 103.3 FM, about topics from the long hours spent on buses in the minor leagues to the mental fogginess that comes from going through chemotherapy.

The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders hosted the visit to Fort Worth in order to recognize National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

The Center has five satellite clinics where cancer patients from across North Texas can find health care professionals ranging from radiation oncologists to dieticians and pharmacists in one location.

Darryl Strawberry and The Darryl Strawberry Foundation are pleased to announce corporate involvement with SpongeTech Delivery Systems, Inc.

"As the outreach spokesperson for the New York Mets, I am excited about my foundation's involvement with SpongeTech.",
SpongeTech's Puddle Pals Products have been a great tool for children with autism, and other special needs, helping them to become more self-sufficient in their cleaning habits and personal hygiene.
SpongeTech will donate a percentage of their Puddle Pals revenue to various Autism groups and foundations. The Darryl Strawberry Foundation supports this cause and stands strong in the fight for quality of life, awareness, and resources for the families in need.
